Register & participate in the 2022 Symposium

The Competition Rules

1.

The entrepreneur will need to register for the Symposium and attend either one or both days of the Symposium 5th and/ or 6th May 2022.

2.

Entries to be submitted via email to info@thetownshipsproject.org.za by 17:00 on the 13th May 2022.

3.

The shortlisted entrepreneur will need to present their business case virtually to the Judges on Friday the 20th May 2022

4.

Winners will be announced on the 30th May 2022

5.

The Entrepreneur needs to be a small business owner in a Township or Rural area with a turnover of less than R1 million.

6.

The Judges’ decision will be final.

7.

The winners must agree to appear in The Townships marketing campaigns and social media.

8.

The Entrepreneur will need to agree to the terms and conditions which will be on the registration page of the conference.

9.

Prize money can be in the form of a cash payment into the winning business account, direct payment for equipment/ service providers or both (subject to due diligence).

    turnover of less than R1 million.
  6. The Judges’ decision will be final.

  9. The business must be in good standing with SARS
  10. Prize money can be in the form of a cash payment into the winning business account, direct
    payment for equipment/ service providers or both (subject to due diligence).
